Roxas-I Won't Be...

Behold Roxas, in all his angsting glory <3

Alright, this was drawn basically for an art trade thing between and myself. She asked me to draw Roxas (in chibi form...? I couldn't remember *grins sheepishly), and so I took a stab, and this was the result. Iwas going to make him chibi, but then I couldn't get his hair right, so I made a picture where I didn't have to fiddle with chibi hair. Blegh, stupid chibi hair not agreeing with me... Anyway, I hope this is okay in return

So let me explain parts of this picture if you don't already understand:
The star on the chain is the keychain from the Oathkeeper Keyblade, which most of you know as the 'lighter' weapon he uses for fighting/double penetration. This little scene thing is meant to be as Roxas leaves the Organization, and considers his destiny, and he is being all tormented in his mind over who he really is and all that...

Let's just say that it is Roxas, he is allowed to think/do/appear this way, and yes, he is crying, not wearing half a monocle.

I must say that I enjoyed colouring the background. I pretty much had a field day with the airbrush, and that was the result. I tried adding more dark to the background, but it looked stupid, so I left it like this. Also, the first file was HUGE. The one I coloured was something like 300MB, so I resized it down to... 4MB? Mmmm and the image stayed pretty much the way it did quality-wise as the original, so I was happy.

Anyway I thought I'd crack open my sort of 'anime-style' faces and see if I could draw them still, and luck let me make this, so I was happy enough with the original sketch. And I'm proud of his hand as well. Ew.
